B2Run Munich 2025 - Team GQS right in the middle of the anniversary run
On July 16, 2025, the time had come again: the 20th B2Run Munich transformed the Olympic Stadium and its surroundings into a major sporting event. With over 30,000 participants from more than 1,600 companies, the anniversary run was a complete success and a strong symbol of team spirit, exercise and social commitment.
GQS also took part with a motivated team of 15 colleagues. In initially summery weather, the 5.7-kilometer route led through the Olympic Park and ended with a spectacular finish in the Olympic Stadium - goosebumps guaranteed!
Just in time for our start, however, we were surprised by a heavy downpour, which briefly turned the route into a wet challenge. But the team didn't let this put them off - on the contrary: the rain provided additional motivation and an unforgettable sense of community. With a lot of humor and team spirit, everyone mastered the course and crossed the finish line soaked but proud.
The atmosphere along the route was great despite the weather: percussion bands, walking acts and hands-on activities created a great atmosphere, while stilt walkers and photo points also made the event a visual experience. For GQS, it was not only a sporting but also a social contribution - because participation supported drinking water projects in Ethiopia. Each team also planted a tree in the Kawo Koysha project area - a strong sign of sustainability.
A special highlight: the participation of marathon legend Haile Gebrselassie, who, as an ambassador for the "Menschen für Menschen" foundation, gave the starting signal for part of the field and ran along himself.
The GQS team not only showed sporting commitment, but also real team spirit - for many it was an unforgettable day that left them wanting more.
